One software Key Disk is supplied. This disk contains the software and installer application. Note that the key disk is a special floppy disk and cannot be copied. It acts as a key for the program and must be used when installing or de-installing the software.
 
SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
To install the software onto your hard drive, copy the software and the installer from the floppy into a folder on your hard drive. Next run the Installer from the hard drive. If it is not already in the floppy drive, the installer will ask you to insert your Key disk. Make sure the disk is write enabled.
The installer will count the number of installs you have on your floppy disk and your hard discs, and display this information. If you have at least one install on your floppy disk, it will offer the option to transfer this install to the hard drive. If you have at least one install on your hard drive, you may de-install it to your floppy. Note that installs are unique. You may not de-install from a machine installed with a colleagues copy of the software. Doing so may result in loss of installs, and voiding of warranty.
To install, select 'Install to HD' and select which hard drive to install onto. Choose a drive which will stay with your computer, and one which you are less likely to reformat / optimise etc. It is not a good idea to install onto a drive used primarily for audio, as you may want to periodically format it.
To de-install, follow the same procedure, selecting 'De-install' and selecting the hard drive to de-install from.
NOTE: Please ensure that all virus protection is turned off, and that the floppy disk is write enabled.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THE USER
Make sure you de-install from all your hard drives before reformatting or optimising your hard discs. If you do not, you may lose installation counts. Gallery have no obligation to replace lost installs, and reserve the right to charge up to 100% of the purchase price for replacement key disks.
